Privacy Policy
Effective: May 15, 2026
Overview
Day Hogg (“the app”, “we”, or “us”) is a local-first iPhone app with an Apple Watch companion. The app helps you log tiny one-tap check-ins and review a local morning report. This page explains what the app stores on your device, what the public website may receive, and how to contact us.
What is stored on your device
The current app stores Day Hogg data locally on your device. This may include your schedule settings, notification preferences, active quest title, one-tap check-in categories, check-in timestamps, daily reports, rank state, share-card source content, and a local entitlement cache for Founder Pass.
No account, no cloud sync
The current app does not create an account, does not use a Day Hogg backend, and does not cloud sync your check-ins or reports. App data stays on your device unless you choose to share something, contact support, join the waitlist, or use Apple services such as StoreKit.
No tracking, analytics SDK, or cloud AI
The current app has no ads, no third-party analytics SDK, no tracking SDK, no RevenueCat SDK, and no cloud AI. Reports are generated from deterministic templates in the app. If optional on-device wording is added later, this policy will be updated before that feature ships.
Notifications
Day Hogg uses local notifications for check-ins and morning reports. You can change notification permissions at any time from your device settings, and you can use pause controls in the app.
Purchases
Founder Pass uses Apple StoreKit. Apple processes the purchase. Day Hogg stores a local entitlement cache so the app can unlock Founder Pass features and support Restore Purchases.
Website, waitlist, and support email
If you join the waitlist or contact support, we may receive your email address and message. The website is hosted on Cloudflare and may use Cloudflare services for hosting, waitlist storage, and email routing. Support email may be handled by our email provider.
User choices and deletion requests
You can delete local app data in the app with Settings -> Delete Local Data. You can restore a Founder Pass purchase with Settings -> Restore Purchases. Because app check-ins and reports are local, we cannot remotely delete that on-device data for you. You can email hello@hogg.day to request deletion of waitlist entries or support correspondence associated with your email address.
Children’s privacy
Day Hogg is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
